Davidson is partnering with a leading utilities provider on a multi-year cyber uplift that protects essential services for the region. You’ll join a modern Digital function delivering tangible, business-facing outcomes in a collaborative, values-driven environment.
About the Role
As a Cyber PM, you’ll run a cross-functional cyber program and coordinate internal teams, partners and vendors. The programis underway with the next six months being shaped; your focus is on planning, orchestration and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery across multiple streams: SOC stand-up/implementation, SIEM uplift, vulnerability management and network segmentation.
- Plan and govern: scope, schedule, budgets/forecasts, risk/issue management, benefits tracking and reporting to boards/steerco.
- Coordinate consulting partners for testing and disaster recovery and ensure smooth transition into operations.
- Drive Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) initiatives and uplift against the Essential Eight (targeting Maturity Level 1), with alignment to broader frameworks (e.g., NIST).
- Lead change, communications and business readiness; partner closely with BA and Change resources.
- Bring IT and OT stakeholders together to improve the backend tech landscape supporting treatment plants and core operations.
About You
- Proven track record delivering cyber security projects/programmes in complex, business-facing environments.
- Confident vendor and consultancy management across SOC, SIEM, testing and DR.
- Strong stakeholder skills - human, engaging and constructive - with the ability to influence across Digital, Operations and Executive levels.
- Comfortable operating in a matrix with no direct reports; able to “bring the functions together” to get outcomes.
- Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (e.g., Windows administration) to guide delivery (not a hands-on admin role).
- Familiarity with OT/Utilities environments is a must!
- Certifications: Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2/PMP) required; Change (e.g., PROSCI) desirable.
