Davidson is partnering with a government client seeking a Customer Service Officer who is committed to delivering excellence in regulatory services that reduce risk and protect the community. This role is first point of contact for face-to-face customer service.
About the Role
- Provide frontline customer service, offering information and advice on building-related matters including legislation, licensing, dispute resolution, and compliance.
- Assist customers with lodging disputes, license applications, and reporting unlicensed work.
- Deliver services related to builder and contractor licensing, the Home Warranty Scheme, and general enquiries.
- Support staff with administrative duties and stakeholder engagement.
- Participate in marketing, educational events, and community awareness sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of services and participate in regular training and quality assurance activities.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, demonstrating resilience in challenging interactions.
About You
- Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Skilled in processing and analysing information using multiple systems and databases.
- Flexible and collaborative, with a continuous improvement mindset and a team-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support effective service delivery.
- Willingness to undertake other duties as required and exercise delegated authority in line with legislation.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo employment screening, which may include police checks, financial history checks, and medical assessments.
The Benefits
- $50.37 per hour + Super
- Located in Brisbane CBD
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
