About the Role
We are seeking Expressions of interest (EOI) for a Cost Control Senior, responsible for management of the Project cost controls, regular reporting on the Project performance and forecasts, identifying any variances within the reporting period and presenting this information to the management team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Management of data between the Project platforms
- Managing submissions for budget
- Produce monthly reports on turnover and profit, analyse the performance of the Project and effectively communicate / present to Management.
- Manage the Cost Controllers.
- Produce and monitor the financial progress of the Project, calculating actual costs to date and comparing such costs to forecast budgets.
- Create, review and update new cost control processes and implement changes when required.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification (ideally in Finance, with a focus on Projects), as well as circa 10 years’ experience in the world of Project Cost Controls, working on major energy or linear infrastructure projects. You will have strong systems skills (including Excel, SAP, EBP software) and strong analytical capability. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, enabling strong communication and good quality outcomes in project cost controls.
