Our client is a well-established national organisation operating within a complex and highly collaborative environment. With a number of projects underway and increased activity across the business, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Officer to provide additional support to their contracts function.
About the Role
Working closely with the Senior Contracts Specialist, you will support the administration and management of a diverse portfolio of external supplier contracts.
This is a hands-on role where you will manage contract enquiries, prepare documentation and variations, maintain accurate contract information and build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing contract and supplier enquiries through a central inbox
- Drafting contracts and variations using established templates
- Reviewing contract requests and identifying matters requiring escalation
- Supporting the resolution of contract-related issues
- Maintaining accurate contract records, data and reporting
- Building effective relationships with external suppliers and stakeholders
- Coordinating contract documentation and execution
- Liaising with internal specialists, including legal, where required
- Supporting improvements to contract processes, templates and procedures
- Providing broader contracts and procurement support during busy periods

About You
You will be an experienced Contracts Officer or Contracts Administrator who is confident managing competing priorities and working across multiple contracts and stakeholders.
You will ideally bring:
- Previous contracts administration or contract management experience
- Experience working with complex supplier or service contracts
- Strong supplier and stakeholder relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong Excel skills and experience with SharePoint
- Confidence reviewing contractual information and identifying issues for escalation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a close-knit team
- A high level of integrity when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information
Experience with Sharepoint
and developing SOPs or process documentation
will be advantageous but isn't essential.
The Benefits
- $50–$55 per hour + super
- Approximately 6-month temporary contract
- Melbourne CBD location
- Hybrid – 2 days in office / 3 days WFH
- Standard Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm hours
