The Opportunity
We are partnering with a large, asset-intensive organisation delivering critical infrastructure services across South East Queensland. They are seeking x 2 experienced Contract Specialists to support the administration and performance of high-value, complex contracts within a major infrastructure delivery program. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multiple large-scale contracts, contributing to the successful delivery of projects that have a meaningful impact on the community.
About the Role
As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering a portfolio of contracts, ensuring compliance, performance and commercial outcomes are achieved.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to provide expert contract management advice, resolve issues and support strong commercial relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple high-value contracts across a large infrastructure program
- Reviewing and assessing payment claims, variations and contractual entitlements
- Monitoring contract performance, KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting contract governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement
- Providing commercial advice to program and project managers
- Managing supplier relationships and resolving contract issues and non-conformances
- Supporting cost tracking, forecasting and financial reporting activities
About You
You are a commercially astute professional with strong experience in contract management within infrastructure, utilities or project-based environments.
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing complex, high-value contracts
- Strong understanding of contract administration, claims and variations
- Experience working within infrastructure, construction, engineering or utilities sectors
- Ability to interpret contracts and provide practical commercial advice
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
