Working alongside experienced Senior Partners, Senior Consultants and project teams, you will gain exposure to a broad range of business advisory engagements while building your consulting capability across analysis, research, stakeholder engagement and client delivery.

About the Role

As a Consultant – Business Advisory, you will support the delivery of client engagements across strategy, transformation, organisational performance and related advisory services.

You will work closely with experienced consultants to research issues, analyse data, gather stakeholder insights and help develop practical recommendations for clients.

You will take ownership of defined pieces of work, contributing to project deliverables and stakeholder activities while building your confidence and capability as a consultant.

This is a role designed for someone who wants to develop their career in consulting and is looking for the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while gaining genuine exposure to client work.

What You'll Be Doing

You will:

• Support the delivery of consulting engagements across strategy, transformation and business advisory projects.
• Undertake research, financial analysis, data analysis, benchmarking and desktop analysis.
• Help identify trends, issues, opportunities and insights from qualitative and quantitative information.
• Assist with stakeholder interviews, workshops and client meetings.
• Prepare analysis, reports, presentations and other high-quality client deliverables.
• Support the development of practical recommendations and implementation-focused outputs.
• Work collaboratively with Senior Partners, Senior Consultants and project team members.
• Manage your allocated tasks, priorities and deadlines across multiple pieces of work.
• Contribute ideas and perspectives to project discussions and problem-solving activities.
• Support proposals, presentations, research and thought leadership activities.
• Build your consulting capability through feedback, coaching and hands-on project experience.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture and share knowledge as you develop.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is curious, analytical and motivated to build a career in consulting.

You may come from management consulting, business advisory, professional services, internal consulting, transformation, project delivery, business analysis or a related environment.

You will ideally bring:

• 1–3 years' professional experience in consulting, business advisory, transformation, project delivery, professional services or a related field.
• Strong analytical capability and confidence working with data and information.
• An interest in financial, operational or commercial analysis.
• Strong research and structured problem-solving skills.
• The ability to break down complex information and identify key themes or insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence preparing PowerPoint presentations and written reports.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• The ability to organise your workload, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to seek feedback and learn from others.
• Curiosity about how organisations operate, perform and transform.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Human Resources, Psychology, Public Policy or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Strategy or transformation projects
• Business improvement
• Organisational performance
• Workforce or operating model projects
• Financial or commercial analysis
• Data analysis or benchmarking
• Project or programme delivery
• Change management
• Workshop or stakeholder engagement

Postgraduate qualifications or relevant consulting, project management or change management certifications are welcomed but not essential.
