About the Company

Davidson is proud to be partnering with Iberdrola Australia, part of the global Iberdrola Group, a world leader in renewable energy and electricity networks.

With a significant and growing footprint across Australia, Iberdrola is delivering critical transmission and energy infrastructure projects that support the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. Backed by a global parent headquartered in Spain, Iberdrola combines international capability with strong local project delivery expertise.

With an exciting pipeline of major Networks and infrastructure projects entering development and delivery phases, this is an opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation at a pivotal stage of growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Insurance, the Insurance Officer will support Iberdrola Australia’s corporate, asset and construction insurance programs, with a strong focus on infrastructure and Networks projects.

This is a client-side role embedded within a major project delivery environment. You will work closely with Marsh, Iberdrola’s appointed insurance broker, who provides technical placement and market advice. Your role is to drive coordination, manage timelines and ensure construction insurance programs are delivered in line with Development and Construction milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting placement and renewal of corporate, asset and construction insurance programs
  • Coordinating construction-related insurance activities across live infrastructure projects
  • Managing stakeholder engagement across internal teams, contractors and brokers
  • Assisting with insurance claims coordination and reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with Group insurance governance and reporting requirements
  • Supporting front-end project costings and major placement cycles

The workload is cyclical, with higher intensity during front-end project placements and costings, particularly in the second half of the year, followed by steadier governance and monitoring during construction phases.

This position is Melbourne based and operates five days per week in the office.
