About the Company

Davidson is proudly partnering with Iberdrola on the VNI West Project, a landmark transmission infrastructure development now entering delivery. Iberdrola is a global leader in renewable energy and networks, with a strong presence across Australia and an unrivalled portfolio of major energy projects supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity and would suit candidates coming from a Legal, Accounting or Auditing background. The role will support the delivery of a world-class Compliance System across a major energy infrastructure initiative and will offer a number of professional growth and development opportunities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Compliance, you will help maintain an independent and effective Compliance function—ensuring robust governance, proactive risk identification, and adherence to Iberdrola Group’s global standards.

This role is well-suited to an analytically minded, investigative, and confident individual who thrives on problem-solving, influencing stakeholders, and navigating complexity.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a critical role by:

· Supporting implementation and embedding of the Iberdrola Group Compliance System within Australia.

· Analysing evolving compliance risks across business operations and identifying new risk exposures.

· Working with senior leaders across multiple business units to implement controls, uplift processes, and foster a strong ethical culture.

· Conducting and advising on third-party fraud and corruption risk assessments (partners, agents, counterparties, transactions, etc.).

· Supporting compliance with regulatory requirements relating to the separation of regulated transmission and generation activities.

About You

This is not your typical compliance role! As part of this team, you will work closely with senior executives, subject matter experts, and global compliance specialists. You will have the opportunity to engage with Iberdrola’s internationally recognised compliance frameworks and collaborate with the Parent Company in Spain—offering unmatched learning and professional development.

You will bring:

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, or similar

· 5 years’ experience in Legal, Controls, Risk, or Compliance

· Strong analytical capability and investigative mindset

· Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making

· Experience in compliance, risk management, auditing, or regulatory obligations

· Flexibility to work within an international governance environment

Benefits

· Exposure to global compliance frameworks and senior leaders

· Career-defining opportunity to grow within a high-visibility function

· Supportive team environment and strong organisational value
