About the Role
In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll shape how Queenslanders engage with services designed to support their financial, legal and personal wellbeing. As Manager, Communications and Engagement, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering sophisticated, high-impact communication and education initiatives.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Engagement and Community Education, you’ll guide strategy, storytelling and execution across diverse platforms and audiences — from community forums to Cabinet briefings.
You will:
- Lead public relations, campaign delivery, digital strategy, and internal communications
- Design and drive state-wide education and engagement programs
- Build and nurture relationships with government, peak bodies, and advocacy groups
- Oversee the development of content, messaging frameworks and measurement tools
- Manage events, media activity, and creative outputs that shape public understanding
