Davidson is partnering with a state government client seeking an experienced Communications Lead to join a high-profile, transformational program of work focused on enhancing data-driven decision-making across Queensland’s education sector.
About the Role/s
As Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in the Education Queensland Insights Platform (EQIP) Program—a multi-year initiative delivering a centralised, unified data repository to empower school and corporate staff with trusted, timely insights. Reporting into the program leadership team, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of all communications and engagement activities across five concurrent projects.
- Lead the delivery of communications, marketing, stakeholder engagement, project communications, creative and digital asset production, and reputation management.
- Align communications with Organisational Change Management (OCM) strategies to ensure stakeholders are informed and supported through change.
- Ensure consistency, cadence, and quality of messaging across all program projects.
- Develop and embed a strong EQIP brand that reflects confidence, quality, and relevance.
- Work closely with the OCM Lead to integrate change messaging across all communications.
- Manage multiple stakeholder groups simultaneously, balancing competing priorities with autonomy.
About You
- Extensive experience in planning and delivering comprehensive communications strategies within large, complex organisations.
- Proven ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholder groups concurrently.
- Demonstrated success leading communications for large-scale projects or programs, ideally with exposure to ICT initiatives.
- Experience supporting the delivery of OCM strategies.
- Strong skills in visual communication, including the creation of diagrams and workflow representations.
- Ability to simplify complex information and tailor messaging to varied audiences.
- Proficiency in producing a range of media including websites, videos, presentations, and workshop materials.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of English.
- High attention to detail and consistency in branding and messaging.
- Strong self-management and prioritisation skills.
The Benefits
- $120.25 per hour + Super
