About the Role
As a Commercial Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships and guiding customers through the sales process.
Working across the commercial and industrial sector, you will engage with decision-makers, understand business requirements and present tailored solar and energy solutions that deliver long-term value.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate and develop new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to close
- Conduct client meetings and presentations
- Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial outcomes
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and sales activity
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Proven B2B sales experience
- Experience within commercial solar, renewable energy, electrical, utilities or a related industry
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Confidence presenting solutions to commercial stakeholders
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High levels of professionalism and emotional intelligence
- The ability to work autonomously and drive results
Solar industry experience will be highly regarded; however, candidates from broader energy and related technical sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
