GeelongPort is Victoria’s second largest port located within Victoria’s largest regional city, Geelong. Reporting to the General Manager Commercial, you will be responsible for managing GeelongPort’s delegated property and customer portfolio ensuring outcomes are aligned to the businesses trade growth objectives. This will include overseeing the management of leases and customer contracts, rate reviews and other contractual related matters to ensure contractual obligations are complied with. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to drive strategic business development and growth with existing and new customers across the property portfolio combining property and service offerings to maxmise trade growth. You will engage across the organisation to actively pursue new business opportunities, working across various functions to create attractive business solutions to fulfil customer needs. In addition, you will provide strategic advice, analytical support and required reporting to the GeelongPort Leadership team to inform strategic decisions and migitiate risk to the business as required.
To be successful in this role you will bring proven commercial experience overseeing complex contract management and customer service agreements within diverse operating environment. Experience in property, logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain environments will be highly regarded. This will include a proactive approach in assessing market trends to identify and inform long-term business strategies to drive continued commercial growth in property and related services will be critical. Importantly, you are recongised for your ability to build effective relationships with diverse range of stakeholders, including new customers and key internal stakeholders to inform and support strategic decision making. Formal qualifications in business, finance, or related commercial discipline will be highly regarded.
