Cloud Engineer – Network
We’re working with a Victorian government organisation to engage an experienced Cloud Engineer – Network on a 12-month contract. This role is hands-on and focused on designing, building, and supporting enterprise networking across on-prem, Azure, and AWS environments.
You’ll work across physical and virtual network infrastructure, delivering secure and resilient connectivity including firewalls, edge routers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and inter-data-centre links. The role sits within a large enterprise environment and works closely with architects and technical leads.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across on-prem, Azure, and AWS
- Building and supporting hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, site-to-site and point-to-site VPNs)
- Configuring and supporting physical network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers)
- Delivering cloud networking using Infrastructure-as-Code and automation
- Supporting network performance, security, availability, and incident resolution
Key experience required:
- Strong experience in enterprise networking across on-prem and multi-cloud environments
- Hands-on Azure and AWS networking experience
- Hybrid connectivity and network security expertise
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments
Details:
- Contract: 12 months
- Location: Geelong & Melbourne both
- Onsite: 3 days per week
