About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and reliability across critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Implement and manage cloud networking, security, monitoring, and governance controls.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Support CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development, security, and architecture teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
- Ensure cloud solutions align with best practices for security, scalability, resilience, and cost optimisation.
- Assist with cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
About You
Essential
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or platform Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience managing core GCP services including:
- Compute Engine
- Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Storage
- Cloud SQL
- VPC Networking
- IAM
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or similar).
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
