As part of a high-performing Melbourne-based team, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects spanning transport, highways, utilities and broader civil engineering disciplines.
About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, opportunities exist for both Professional and Senior Civil & Highways Engineers to join a collaborative and technically respected team.
Working alongside multidisciplinary specialists, you will contribute to the planning, design and delivery of major infrastructure projects from concept development through to detailed design and construction support.
Responsibilities
- Delivering transport, highway and civil infrastructure projects across various project phases
- Supporting and coordinating multidisciplinary teams including civil, drainage, utilities and transport specialists
- Preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation
- Managing project coordination activities and supporting project delivery objectives
- Participating in stakeholder engagement, technical workshops and design reviews
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to developing engineers
- Supporting construction-phase activities, site queries and design clarifications
- Contributing to project planning and delivery across transport, energy, water, defence and other infrastructure sectors
About You
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in transport infrastructure, highways, civil or utilities projects
- Strong organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Construction delivery knowledge and understanding
- Knowledge of engineering design software such as 12d, OpenRoads, Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
For Senior Engineers, the Following Will Be Highly Regarded
- Demonstrated experience leading technical delivery on major infrastructure projects
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders
- Strong project management and delivery capabilities
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining technical quality
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers
- Advanced proficiency in relevant engineering design software
