Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connection, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services. Scope has managed revenue of $588M and employs circa 7000 personnel across 420 service locations within Victoria and NSW.

We are currently undergoing a major transformation program designed to reshape people, processes, and technology to ensure we deliver high-quality and sustainable services into the future. As part of this journey, we are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief People Officer (CPO) to join our Executive Leadership Team.

As Chief People Officer, you will lead the design and delivery of Scope’s Workforce Strategy—ensuring we have the right people, culture, and capabilities to meet client needs both now and into the future. Your leadership will:

  • Drive large-scale workforce transformation projects including organisation redesign, strategic workforce planning, employee value proposition and disability inclusive workforce strategy, and culture transformation.
  • Oversee key workforce functions, including Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning & Analytics, Organisational Capability, Learning & Engagement, Employee Relations, Remuneration & Benefits, and People Systems.
  • Shape and sustain a high-performing, safe, and inclusive workplace culture that empowers our employees to deliver on Scope’s purpose.
  • Contribute broadly to the Executive Leadership Team across elements such as strategy, service growth, finance and quality & safeguarding,

Scope Australia offer hybrid working arrangements and this role is based at their Hawthorn office. A competitive salary is on offer, which also includes NFP/PBI salary packaging and free onsite parking. Please note you will be required to hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and a Working with Children Check or be prepared to apply for one.
