- Lead enterprise cyber strategy across a complex global business
- Shape Board-level decisions on cyber, AI and enterprise risk
- Transform cyber capability to enable resilience and innovation
An exceptional opportunity exists for an accomplished cyber security executive to lead enterprise-wide information security strategy for a complex, globally connected organisation undergoing continued digital transformation.
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a contemporary cyber security strategy that protects critical operations while enabling innovation, resilience and business growth. Leading an established security function, you will oversee cyber operations, security architecture, governance, risk and compliance, while driving capability across operational technology (OT), AI governance, cyber resilience and emerging technologies.
This role requires far more than technical expertise. We are seeking a commercially astute executive with the credibility to influence at Board level, translate cyber risk into strategic business decisions and foster a culture where security enables performance rather than constrains it. You will bring experience leading cyber transformation within a large, complex and asset-intensive organisation, ideally across sectors such as utilities, industrials, manufacturing, telecommunications, transport, logistics or critical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be recognised as a contemporary leader with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, strong commercial judgement and the ability to balance governance, innovation and operational outcomes. You will have a proven track record of building high-performing teams, leading enterprise-wide change and navigating increasingly complex regulatory and cyber risk environments.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future cyber strategy of a significant enterprise while partnering with executive leadership to strengthen organisational resilience, trust and long-term business performance. A highly competitive executive remuneration package is on offer, commensurate with the strategic nature of the appointment.
