Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, this role will lead the Information Technology, Information Management, Enterprise Systems and Digital Data functions. You will lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies, programs and systems across council that create digital solutions for the community. This role will provide expert strategic and operational advice, advising Council and senior management on information technology programs, with an emphasis on customer service and business improvement outcomes. This role will manage and motivate the team to support Council to deliver exceptional customer service to staff, while improving the technology user-experience for the boarder community.
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated success in leading an information technology function in Local Government. You will be an exceptional people leader, with a proven track record of empowering staff and fostering a positive and motivated workplace culture. You have experience in technology transformation with the strong commercial acumen and communication skills required to influence a range of diverse stakeholders. You are highly regarded for your change management skills, coupled with your ability to navigate seamlessly between operational tasks and strategic outcomes.
