Beyond Housing is the largest community housing organisation within the Goulburn Valley and North East regions of Victoria. Beyond Housing is the main entry point for the homelessness system and provides a range of support for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the organisation. This executive leadership position goes beyond traditional finance, offering the opportunity to influence the organisation’s future through visionary financial planning, insightful capital investment strategies, and robust risk management. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial operations—from budgeting and reporting to identifying growth opportunities, ensuring regulatory compliance and upholding the highest standards of accuracy and accountability. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who is passionate about using their expertise to support an organisation with a strong social purpose and a bold vision for growth and innovation.
To be considered for this role, you will be an accomplished executive leader with the capability to lead financial strategy and support the organisation’s growth. With expertise in long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting, you act as a trusted adviser to the CEO, providing insights that guide business decisions and identify growth opportunities aligned to the purpose of Beyond Housing. CPA/CA qualified, you bring strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations, proven experience reporting to CEOs and Boards, and the ability to clearly communicate financial risks and opportunities. Your success in this role will be underpinned by exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, strong interpersonal influence, and the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships. This role can be based in Wodonga, Wangaratta or Shepparton.
