Our client, a highly respected organisation operating within the health sector, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of ongoing permanent role. This role comes at an exciting time of transformation and sustained growth, offering a unique opportunity to shape and influence the organisation’s financial future. You will take responsibility for developing and implementing robust financial strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk effectively, and driving operational performance to support long-term sustainability. Your leadership will be critical in navigating the complexities of a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the executive leadership team as CFO you will actively contributing to shaping the overall strategic direction of the organisation. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with executive and Board to align financial and corporate services strategy with strategic objectives, while providing transparent and accurate financial analysis and guidance to support future financial sustainability and diversification. Importantly you will drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. A strong commitment to the organisation’s core values and a passion for advancing health outcomes will be essential as you continue to guide the organisation towards delivering impactful and meaningful services to the community it serves.
You will bring a strong foundation in finance and a demonstrated ability to operate in complex environments, ideally with experience or a clear interest in strategic transformation and growth. This includes areas such as due diligence, integration planning, and engaging effectively with key stakeholders. While direct experience in the health or similarly complex sectors is highly regarded, we also welcome applicants who are ready to step into a broader leadership role and bring strong transferable expertise. The ability to navigate regulatory requirements while contributing to commercial success, transformation, and continuous improvement will be key. Formal qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) are essential.
