- Lead a Territory-wide not-for-profit with global connections and local impact
- Drive growth, partnerships, and innovation in community services
- Empower Territorians through values-driven leadership
The Y is a global not-for-profit youth movement with a mission to empower children, young people, and communities to build a just, sustainable, equitable and inclusive world, where every person can thrive in body mind and spirit. Y NT, formerly YMCA NT, is a values-based, community-focused not-for-profit organisation that has proudly supported Territorians for over 50 years. Part of the global Y movement, Y NT delivers critical services across sport, recreation, youth, family, and children’s services. With a focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and opportunity, Y NT works alongside communities to ensure that Territorians of all ages can thrive.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will lead Y NT’s operations and strategy across the Northern Territory. The CEO will partner closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team to implement Y NT’s mission, ensure organisational sustainability, and deliver community outcomes. With a clear mandate to strengthen governance, drive commercial growth, and enhance service delivery, the CEO will provide visionary leadership that balances local priorities with the opportunities of being part of a national and global movement.
You will bring extensive executive leadership experience within the not-for-profit, government, or community services sectors, with proven commercial and operational management capability. You will have a strong track record of shaping organisational culture, inspiring staff, and delivering impact through collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Experience working in or with the Northern Territory, and an understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges facing regional and remote communities, will be highly valued.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a values-driven leader to make a lasting difference in the Northern Territory, supported by a strong Board and a global network.
