The Irish Australian Chamber of Commerce is the leading voice for Irish Australian business—a vibrant, inclusive network driving opportunity and growth across Australia and Ireland. With diverse membership and an independent, apolitical stance, the Chamber connects professionals, champions enterprise, and advocates powerfully on the issues that matter.
Reporting to the board, the CEO, will oversee the Chamber’s day-to-day operations while shaping and executing its long-term strategic vision. You will be central to driving membership growth, deepening stakeholder engagement, and expanding the Chamber’s profile across Australia and Ireland. The CEO will build partnerships while leading key initiatives to strengthening systems and cultivating a vibrant organisational culture that reflects the Chamber’s inclusive and entrepreneurial spirit.
We are looking for a seasoned leader with a strong track record in growing member-based or not-for-profit organisations. You bring strategic clarity, financial acumen, and a future-focused mindset, combined with the adaptability to work effectively in a lean, fast-moving environment. As the public face of the Chamber, you’ll be a confident and credible advocate, able to engage at senior levels across government, industry, and the Irish Australian business community. Above all, you’re relationship-driven, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to lead a high-impact organisation in a flexible, part-time capacity.
