Established in 1983, gforce is a for-purpose community-based organisation that makes a difference in the lives of people and communities in which it serves by helping people achieve the benefits of employment. As a full-service employment and recruitment organisation, gforce is a Disability Employment Services, and Inclusive Employment Australia provider from 1 November 2025, a registered NDIS provider, a labour-hire and Group Training Organisation being the largest employer of trainees and apprentices in Geelong and Ballarat.

Building on the incredible work gforce has done over decades, the organisation has recently merged with MEGT Australia, allowing the group to better support the needs of people, employers, communities and staff, enhancing the commitment to rural and regional communities.

Reporting to an inclusive and value-driven Board, the Chief Executive Officer will lead strategic and operational efforts to shape gforce’s next chapter of innovation and growth. This pivotal role demands a resilient, empathetic and collaborative leader who will champion a high-performance culture motivating teams to exceed client expectations and uphold gforce’s mission. The CEO will nurture and expand stakeholder relationships across government, community, industry, and client groups, while spearheading new business opportunities. A significant component of the role involves steering the implementation of the Strategic Plan, ensuring robust financial stewardship, and delivering impactful community outcomes.

We are seeking a proven executive leader with experience driving innovation and growth in a complex, values-based environment. You will be recognised for your ability to influence, advocate and build trust with diverse stakeholders, and for your strong financial and commercial acumen. Experience working closely with a Board, coupled with a track record of embedding innovation into operations and strategy, will be highly regarded. Importantly, you bring a demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive, safe and positive workplace cultures and are motivated to achieve gforce’s mission of helping people achieve the benefits of employment.
