Youth Live4Life is a registered health promotion charity committed to improving rural youth mental health and preventing suicide through its award-winning, place-based, community led Live4Life model. To date, the organisation has reached more than 33,000 young people across 14 rural and regional communities in Victoria and Tasmania. Scaling to meet demand, Youth Live4Life is now embarking on an exciting phase of national expansion. Recognised by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System as an innovative, evidence-based model, Live4Life empowers young people, schools, and communities to take the lead in mental health education and suicide prevention.
Guided by the values of inclusivity, integrity, collaboration and respect, Youth Live4Life create supportive environments that build community resilience and connection. The organisation is now seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead this next stage of growth, amplify its impact and influence mental health outcomes for young people in rural and regional Australia.
Reporting to the Board Chair, the Chief Executive Officer will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight across all facets of the organisation. You will be responsible for setting and delivering its strategic direction, securing funding and partnerships, advocating for system-wide change, and ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of the Live4Life model as it scales nationally.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a track record of strategic leadership in community development with CEO or executive level experience in the not-for-profit, mental health, or youth services sectors. You will be a skilled communicator and relationship builder, capable of engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including federal, state and local government, philanthropic partners, service providers and community leaders. Your ability to lead with authenticity and purpose, coupled with sound commercial acumen, will be essential in ensuring the organisation's long-term success and impact.
