Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be accountable for the end-to-end registrar journey from application, selection and placement through training delivery, examination and continuing professional development. You will lead the development of the Education & Training Strategy, ensuring the registrar experience value chain delivers a high-quality outcome to enhance the reputation of the RACGP, contributing to the successful pipeline and distribution of GPs across Australia. Importantly, you will ensure the successful integration of the Education & Training teams and providing strategic leadership to the team and empowering the team to effectively achieve outcomes and ensure training and education remains relevant for trainees and members of RACGP.

Success in this position will be achieved through an integrated and collaborative organisational approach, exceptional internal and external relationship skills together with high levels of innovation and accountability to engage and drive education and training focused teams to deliver value to our members. Driving a member-centric focus across all operational functions, you will build a reputation for educational and training excellence.

You are recognised as a highly respected executive leader with experience leading similar education or training portfolios across aligned health, allied health, professional education and training or aligned sector. You will have experience working collaboratively with an executive team to establish an education strategy that is reflected in sustainable and contemporary training outcomes. Importantly, you will have successfully led and empowered teams through change and established a culture of accountability and performance. You are highly regarded for your resilient mindset, outcomes focused leadership, strong commercial acumen and ability to engage and build effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders internally, across sector and government, including experience reporting to Boards. Your executive peers admire your strategic leadership, self-awareness, commercial mindset and collaborative approach. You will have a track record of developing and leading high-performing and engaged teams. Experience in General Practice, Primary Care or Allied Health would be highly regarded.
