About the Company

Our client is a leading public organisation operating within the energy space.

About the Role

Seeking a Change Manager to lead a series of technology-driven change initiatives, including the organisation‑wide Windows 11 uplift, SSO/MFA enhancements across applications, and the establishment of a new technology governance framework and operating model.

This role suits someone who thrives in ambiguity, can work autonomously, and knows how to take ownership of complex change programs from strategy through to delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver end‑to‑end change management across multiple technology uplift projects.
  • Develop change strategies, impact assessments, communications, training, and engagement plans.
  • Drive the change approach for the Windows 11 upgrade across diverse teams.
  • Lead the change and adoption activities for SSO/MFA uplift across the application suite.
  • Establish and embed new technology governance practices.
  • Support the design and rollout of a modern technology operating model.
  • Work closely with project managers, technology teams, business SMEs and senior leaders.
  • Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure smooth transition, adoption, and embedding of new processes and ways of working.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Change Manager delivering technology-based change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of modern digital uplift programs (Windows upgrades, MFA/SSO, cloud-based identity, etc.).
  • Ability to operate autonomously, make decisions and create structure in ambiguous environments.
  • A self-starter mindset – someone who takes initiative, solves problems and drives momentum.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience developing change artefacts (change strategies, training materials, comms packs, readiness assessments, etc.).
  • Ability to work across multiple streams and translate technical change into clear business impact.
  • Comfortable working at both strategic and hands-on levels

The Benefits

  • Competitive day rates
  • 4-month initial contract with a view to extend in the new financial year
  • Hybrid working arrangement
