Change Manager (Execution-led) – Digital Program

is partnering with a utilities organisation
to deliver a priority digital program. We’re looking for an execution-led Change Manager
to drive the delivery of an existing change plan
through to go-live
and early stabilisation.
This role is suited to a hands-on change professional who thrives on delivery — coordinating activity, managing dependencies, and ensuring communications and training land when they need to. You’ll work in a small change team alongside a Change Communications Specialist
and an Instructional Designer, reporting to the Delivery Manager.
What you’ll be doing
- Own day-to-day execution of the change plan through to go-live
- Drive readiness and cutover activities: stakeholder engagement, change impacts, comms/training sequencing, and adoption support
- Coordinate delivery across change streams (communications and training), managing timelines, dependencies and approvals
- Maintain change artefacts (plans, RAID items, stakeholder maps, readiness trackers, comms/training schedules)
- Provide clear status updates for governance forums and project reporting, including risks and readiness insights
- Work closely with program leadership and business stakeholders to unblock issues and keep delivery on track
- Support go-live planning, hypercare/stabilisation activities, and transition to BAU
What you’ll bring
Must have:
- Strong practical change delivery experience (end-to-end execution through go-live)
- Solid grounding in change frameworks and tools (Prosci/ADKAR exposure highly regarded)
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder management skills
- High accountability, organised and detail-driven — you’re comfortable being “on the tools”
- Able to work effectively in ambiguity and fast-paced delivery environments
- Melbourne-based with ability to be onsite 3 days per week
Nice to have:
- Experience in lean change teams / build-mode environments
- Digital platform or transformation delivery experience
- Public sector / regulated environment exposure
