Our utilities sector client has a long-term contract opportunity for a strategic and hands-on Change Manager ready to take the lead on a truly impactful program of work? The Change Manager will take responsibility for forumalting the change for a large scale roll-out program of 300,000 devices across the region.
This is not your average change role — you’ll be central to one of the largest and most ambitious transformation programs in the utility sector. Working with a high-performing, friendly and collaborative team, you’ll design and execute the end-to-end change strategy, ensuring smooth adoption and long-term success across diverse stakeholder groups.
About the Program
The rollout marks a significant transition from analogue to digital, bringing wide-ranging changes to customers, systems, processes and internal operations. Your work will impact:
- Consumers (external engagement and education)
- Field operations teams
- Operational Technology (OT) teams
- Strategic Asset Management
- Internal business support and customer service functions
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the overall change strategy and execution
- Review and enhance the existing change plan and stakeholder analysis
- Design a compelling change and communications strategy
- Establish and lead stakeholder engagement groups
- Deliver impact assessments, with a focus on workforce transition and upskilling
- Document business processes ( As-Is / To-Be ) and drive business process improvement
- Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and business leaders to ensure alignment
- Produce clear and actionable documentation to support change readiness
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation programs
- Exposure to utilities, energy, infrastructure, or similar industries
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks, tools and methodologies
- A background in delivering business process change and workforce transition
- Experience managing the human side of change — role impacts, reskilling, communications
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to bring people on the journey
- Confidence to lead at both the strategic and operational level
