Davidson Technology Consulting is seeking an experienced Change Lead to support a major enterprise-wide ERP transformation with our team for a Melbourne-based public sector organisation.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity suited to a senior change practitioner who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on across change strategy, stakeholder engagement, readiness, communications, adoption, and benefits realisation. The program will modernise core corporate systems and improve finance, operational, procurement, HR, assets, regulatory, community and corporate service capability across a complex organisation.
Hybrid work environment with three days onsite per week required.
The Opportunity
- Lead end-to-end change management across a large-scale ERP and digital transformation program.
- Establish and embed structured change practices aligned to Prosci and ADKAR principles.
- Drive organisational readiness, stakeholder adoption, capability uplift, resistance management, and sustainable benefits realisation.
- Work closely with transformation, project, training, technology and business stakeholders across multiple functional streams.
- Create high-quality change artefacts including change strategies, impact assessments, stakeholder matrices, readiness dashboards, communications plans and resistance plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ERP Change Management Strategy aligned to program milestones.
- Establish change governance, adoption metrics, reporting mechanisms and enterprise-wide change standards.
- Conduct stakeholder identification, segmentation, engagement planning and enterprise-wide change impact assessments.
- Develop and execute structured communications and engagement plans aligned to program objectives and organisational strategy.
- Facilitate leadership forums, workshops, stakeholder briefings and impact sessions.
- Conduct readiness assessments, identify adoption risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Partner with training teams to align learning activity to change impacts and ADKAR principles.
- Coach executive sponsors, leaders and workstream leads to support effective change leadership.
- Mentor and collaborate with internal change resources to help build sustainable change capability.
- Support go-live activity and transition into hypercare.
About You
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end change management in large-scale digital, ERP or enterprise system transformation programs.
- Strong working knowledge of Prosci methodology and ADKAR-based change practices.
- Proven capability across stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, organisational readiness and adoption planning.
- Experience developing and delivering change strategies, communications plans, adoption plans and senior stakeholder engagement materials.
- Confidence working with executives, business leaders, technology teams, implementation partners and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong facilitation, communication, influencing and coaching skills.
- ERP or enterprise application implementation experience is highly desirable.
- Public sector, local government or complex regulated environment experience will be highly regarded.
