Davidson Technology are working with a leading Federal Government Agency to secure an experienced Change & Knowledge Transfer Manager responsible for assessing, designing and delivering organisational change management and knowledge transfer activities to support the application support and maintenance of the agency’s infrastructure project.
About the Role
You will provide organisational change and knowledge transfer management expertise to strengthen Agency and project capability, effectively managing competing priorities and strategic directions to deliver outcomes aligned with the Agency’s goals and objectives. You will identify, manage and evaluate change and knowledge transfer risks while maintaining a strong understanding of the Agency’s role in delivering digital health outcomes for Australia, its jurisdictional partnerships and key stakeholder relationships. Working within established legislative, policy, project management, change management and governance frameworks, you will operate with a high degree of independence and autonomy under broad direction, resolving complex issues and exercising sound professional judgement in a changing environment. You will make and communicate decisions that may have a significant impact on the Agency and project outcomes, while developing and maintaining strategic relationships and internal and external networks. You will engage and manage a broad range of stakeholders throughout change and knowledge transfer activities, promoting project and Agency objectives while effectively resolving conflict, managing sensitivities and supporting successful outcomes.
About You
You will bring demonstrated experience conducting complex change and knowledge transfer analysis, including assessing impacts, stakeholders and readiness, to develop evidence-based strategies and plans that support successful transition and adoption of new ways of working. You will have experience applying structured change methodologies and leading organisational change activities within transition programs that are already underway, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with varying levels of change and knowledge transfer maturity. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience identifying change and knowledge transfer dependencies and collaborating across teams to minimise disruption and operational impact. You will be comfortable navigating complex and sensitive situations and have demonstrated experience planning, coordinating and delivering knowledge transfer between incumbent and incoming vendors to maintain service continuity and minimise operational risk. You will ensure critical business and technical knowledge is effectively shared, documented, recorded and retained in accordance with Agency requirements, and will have experience developing and delivering training materials, user guides, standard operating procedures and support documentation for diverse stakeholder groups. You will also hold tertiary qualifications in Organisational Change Management or a related discipline, or a recognised specialist accreditation such as Prosci.
This role requires Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance
(with potential for higher clearance if required) and a national police check.
The Benefits
You will be offered an excellent hourly rate on an initial contract running to the end of the financial year with 2x 12-month extensions available.
