Change Analyst – Digital Program

Davidson is partnering with a utilities organisation to support the delivery of a priority digital program. We’re looking for a delivery-focused Change Analyst to support end-to-end change activities through implementation, go-live and stabilisation.

You’ll work as part of the program leadership team, reporting to the Delivery Manager, and partnering closely with project leadership and internal stakeholders. This role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can bring structure where there isn’t much, and is comfortable being hands-on across communications, training coordination and change delivery.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support development and execution of the change approach and plan aligned to project milestones and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate readiness activities, adoption planning and delivery schedules across training and communications
  • Produce change reporting and insights for governance forums (PCG and Steering Committee)
  • Provide change inputs to internal and external status reporting, capturing risks, progress and readiness
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities, including communications planning and key messages
  • Deliver change activities required for successful implementation, including post go-live stabilisation and transition to BAU
  • Support coordination across change deliverables with an Instructional Designer and Communications Specialist, helping to prioritise workstreams and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Develop practical, repeatable change artefacts and ways of working that can be reused across future initiatives

What you’ll bring

Must have:

  • Solid working knowledge of change principles, tools and methodologies (Prosci ADKAR exposure essential; certification desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication – able to tailor messages for different audiences
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills: active listening, relationship building, influencing and alignment
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-paced delivery environments
  • Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills (including root cause analysis)
  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of an organisation
  • Melbourne-based with ability to be onsite 3 days per week

Highly desirable:

  • Experience in organisations without mature enterprise change / PMO structures (build-mode / start-up style environments)
  • Experience supporting digital platform builds
  • Victorian Government / public sector exposure
  • Relevant change or project qualifications (or equivalent practical experience)

What success looks like (first 6 months)

  • Change, training and communications delivered to support implementation, go-live, stabilisation and BAU transition
  • A library of repeatable change artefacts created for future initiatives
  • Practical recommendations captured on fit-for-purpose change ways of working to support priority projects
