About the Company
The Australian Resuscitation Council is a voluntary coordinating body representing all major groups involved in the teaching and practice of resuscitation. We were established in 1976 with the aim of fostering and coordinating the practice and teaching of resuscitation, promoting uniformity and standardising resuscitation.

We do this through the development and publication of evidence-based guidelines and by providing a curriculum for the delivery of Advanced Life Support courses to healthcare professionals.

About the Role
To coordinate operational, stakeholder and business support services across the organisation. This role ensures seamless internal operations, high-quality external engagement and logistical oversight of programs and governance functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Stakeholder & Customer Service Coordination

  • First point of contact for instructor, partner, and stakeholder queries
  • Maintain CRM records and support communication across member groups
  • Assist with mail-outs, email campaigns, and engagement

Council and Committee Coordination

  • Prepare/distribute agendas, minutes, and manage meeting logistics
  • Maintain records of membership and appointments
  • Compile metrics for reporting

Program & Project Support

  • Coordinate faculty bookings and course schedules with Education Manager
  • Ensure quality control for training delivery data
  • Support project coordination as required

Office Administration

  • Support internal communications
  • Maintain desk files and procedural systems
  • Handle general administrative tasks

Other Duties

  • Participate in internal meetings, workshops, sector events
  • Undertake relevant professional development
  • Follow policies on health, safety, privacy, and conduct
  • Maintain confidentiality and support continuity with Administration Assistant

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Administration and Finance Manager, Education Manager, Chief Executive, Council/Committee members, Australian Resuscitation Council team
  • External: Course provider centres and instructors, member organisations, stakeholders in health/education, NZ Resuscitation Council team


About You

Skills

  • Customer-focused and proactive
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ideally Mac OS
  • Willingness to learn and support broader goals

Experience (desirable)

  • Stakeholder engagement or governance support
  • Administrative/coordination roles
  • CRM, logistics, or project support

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
