We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Business Partner to join a dynamic People, Culture & Engagement team in Geelong. This full-time, 6-month contract offers a great opportunity to contribute to people-focused initiatives within a high-performing organisation.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner, you’ll support the Senior Business Partner(s) in delivering strategic and operational HR advice across a wide range of areas including performance management, employee relations, recruitment, change management, and workforce planning. You’ll also act as a key liaison for escalated people issues and lead the implementation of HR initiatives that enhance employee experience across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance across the employee lifecycle
- Support organisational change initiatives, consultation processes, and workforce planning
- Coach managers on employee concerns and facilitate local resolution strategies
- Coordinate induction and offboarding processes
- Analyse workforce data and develop targeted people strategies
- Maintain business partnering documentation, tools, and shared resources
About You
- 3–6 years of generalist HR experience
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and time management skills
- Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance, and best practices
- Payroll experience highly regarded
