Davidson is proud to be partnering with a leading Australian university on the search for a skilled Reporting Business Analyst. This contract role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the university meets its compliance obligations while delivering accurate insights to guide strategic decisions.
About the Role
As a Reporting Business Analyst, you will provide hands-on expertise across regulatory reporting and business process improvement within Higher Education systems, particularly TCSI (Transforming the Collection of Student Information). Your work will directly support the university’s ability to meet statutory obligations, enhance data integrity, and streamline reporting practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, validate, and submit TCSI and other statutory reporting requirements accurately and on time.
- Analyse complex student, course, and enrolment data to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders, IT teams, and government agencies to resolve reporting queries and data quality issues.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for reporting and system enhancements.
- Develop documentation, data dictionaries, and process maps to support compliance and transparency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across student information and reporting systems.
About You
- Solid experience in university reporting and TCSI compliance.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear outcomes.
- Skilled at collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
