Davidson is partnering with a leading organisation within the wealth and superannuation sector to secure an experienced Business Analyst
for an initial 9 motnh contract.
This role sits within a complex, regulated environment and will suit someone who enjoys bringing structure to ambiguity, engaging stakeholders, and translating business needs into clear, practical requirements.
About the Role
As the Business Analyst, you will provide business analysis support across change initiatives, helping to translate business needs into clear requirements and practical delivery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining, documenting and validating business problems, requirements, current and future state processes, and desired outcomes.
- Analysing functional and non-functional requirements and translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria and business artefacts.
- Supporting solution design, development, testing and implementation activities.
- Facilitating workshops, walkthroughs, requirements reviews and stakeholder discussions.
- Maintaining quality documentation, tracking risks and dependencies, and supporting required approvals.
- Supporting disclosure change delivery, including document review, proofreading, version control and change records.
- Working with product owners, delivery teams and change stakeholders to support business readiness and successful implementation.
- Assessing document impacts and supporting compliant updates across disclosure and communication materials.
About You
You will be an experienced Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work across complex change environments.
You will bring:
- Proven Business Analyst experience.
- Experience in the wealth and superannuation sector is a must.
- Previous experience working in Agile or Lean delivery environments.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience using tools such as Visio, Miro, Jira and Confluence.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
- The ability to adapt your approach across changing priorities and delivery needs.
- Experience working on large, complex or multi-stream projects.
