A major energy organisation delivering large-scale market, network, and regulatory projects is seeking an experienced Business Analyst. The team delivers high-impact work across complex market environments and is responsible for interpreting industry rules, supporting system and process change, and ensuring compliance with evolving energy market requirements.

About the Role

This role focuses on analysing, translating, and validating changes related to AEMO operations and NER/NEM obligations. You will turn rule and procedural updates into clear functional and non-functional requirements, maintain traceability across all documentation, and work closely with testing teams to confirm outcomes. You will join a team of five Business Analysts, working in a structured environment with high expectations around collaboration, detail, and quality. The role involves close engagement with technical, regulatory, and operational teams to ensure market and compliance needs are fully understood and delivered.

About You

  • Strong experience with AEMO and NER/NEM interpretation
  • Skilled in translating regulatory and procedural updates into functional and non-functional requirements
  • Confident in maintaining requirement traceability across all artefacts
  • Able to support testing teams through validation and requirement coverage
  • Collaborative approach within multi-BA environments
