The Opportunity
Join a major Queensland technology transformation program that is reshaping how transport operations are coordinated across the state. This is an initial 6 month contract, with 2x 12 month extensions in which you can combine business analysis and change management expertise, working closely with technical and operational stakeholders to deliver new capabilities that improve incident response, operational efficiency, and transport outcomes. You'll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology delivery and business adoption, ensuring solutions are successfully implemented and embraced by operational teams.
The Role
You'll work across technical initiatives, operational stakeholders, and project teams to ensure new capabilities are successfully defined, delivered, and adopted.
- Analyse current business processes and operational workflows
- Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Develop business analysis artefacts, documentation, and implementation plans
- Partner with Project Managers and technical SMEs to support solution delivery
- Lead or support change management activities to drive successful adoption
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
About You
You're an experienced Business Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of business, technology, and organisational change.
- Extensive Business Analyst experience delivering complex technology projects
- Demonstrated change management experience, ideally within large transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to deliver outcomes in collaborative, fast-paced environments
