About the Role

As an Advisory Consultant, you will work as part of a collaborative consulting team delivering impactful people led workplace performance solutions to clients across the public and private sectors.

You will contribute to a broad range of advisory engagements, including psychometric and leadership assessment, organisational development, capability uplift, workforce transformation and talent solutions. This role combines consulting delivery, stakeholder engagement, analysis and project coordination, providing an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about organisational psychology, leadership and solving complex people challenges.

You will build trusted client relationships, contribute to business development activities and develop deep expertise within your chosen area of specialisation while working alongside experienced consultants and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality consulting and advisory services across a range of client engagements.
  • Support leadership assessment, psychometric assessment and development programs.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative information to identify insights and develop practical recommendations.
  • Contribute to organisational development, leadership capability and workforce transformation projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, frameworks and client deliverables to a high professional standard.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure successful delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, consultation activities and client meetings.
  • Support proposal development, tender responses and business development initiatives.
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of new methodologies, tools and thought leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and delivery partners while representing the Davidson brand professionally.

About You

You are curious, analytical and motivated by helping organisations and people perform at their best. You enjoy working through complex challenges, collaborating with others and translating insights into practical solutions. This role will suit someone in their early career.

Essential:

  • Undergraduate degree (in psychology, business or other related discipline)
  • 1-2 years+ business experience
  • Strong interest in organisational psychology, leadership, workforce capability and workplace performance.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify patterns and draw meaningful insights.
  • Strong written communication and report writing capability.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Highly Regarded:

  • Degree in Psychology, Organisational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Behavioural Science or a related discipline.
  • Experience administering or interpreting psychometric assessments.
  • Exposure to consulting, organisational development, leadership development or workforce projects.
  • Experience supporting proposals, tenders or business development activities.
  • Understanding of behavioural science, leadership assessment methodologies or capability frameworks.
  • Experience facilitating workshops or stakeholder engagement activities.
