A growing organisation is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support its financial operations during an exciting period of expansion. This newly created position offers flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic environment.
About the role
This part‑time position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing end‑to‑end bookkeeping tasks. You’ll work closely with the internal team to ensure accurate financial processes, smooth day‑to‑day operations and reliable reporting. Hours are 20 per week and can be arranged to suit your schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
- Complete timely and accurate bank reconciliations
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation, or coordinate lodgements where required
- Prepare financial reports for the leadership team
- Process and oversee the weekly payroll function
- Manage bookkeeping requirements for investment properties
- Support ongoing improvements to systems, processes and financial workflows
About you
- Experienced in Xero and confident adopting new systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoys implementing improved processes and contributing to operational efficiency
- Industry experience in automotive or similar environments is beneficial but not essential
- Accounting qualifications will be highly regarded
