Automation Specialist – RPA Developer/BA Requirements Opportunity (Permanent, Onsite)
About the Role
A national retailer is seeking a skilled Automation Specialist
with strong Business Analyst capabilities and hands-on RPA experience. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation’s automation journey from the ground up.
You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather and document requirements, map processes using BPMN, and evaluate RPA platforms (UiPath). Over time, the role will evolve into a more technical RPA Developer position, with potential to manage a squad and lead automation programs end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand processes and identify automation opportunities.

Map and document processes using BPMN and other relevant methodologies.

Conduct platform evaluations and recommend automation solutions.

Define, document, and prioritise requirements for automation initiatives.

Work closely with technical teams to deliver automation solutions.

Transition into a technical RPA Developer role, contributing to development and program delivery.

Support the automation program strategy and help shape its direction within the business.
About You

Strong Business Analyst skills with experience engaging stakeholders and documenting requirements.

Hands-on experience with UiPath or similar RPA tools.

Curious about process improvement and automation.

Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative environment.

Enjoys working across business analysis, delivery, and development.
