About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead ASE Facilitator and Solution Designer to support the delivery of large-scale, executive-level strategy events for enterprise clients. This is a short-term, specialist contract role on a Hybrid schedule in Melbourne focused on designing and facilitating multi-day Accelerated Solution Environment (ASE) events using approved methodologies.
This role is suited to a senior, front-of-room facilitator with deep experience running high-stakes strategy workshops for executive audiences, particularly within energy and utilities and/or government or education environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and facilitation of large ASE strategy events
- Design and deliver multi-day executive workshops/events (not standard workshops)
- Facilitate complex, high-pressure sessions with senior leadership and executives
- Apply ASE / MG Taylor methodologies to drive alignment, decision-making, and outcomes
- Engage directly with clients onsite to understand objectives and tailor event design
- Manage group dynamics, energy, and momentum in large-group settings
- Deliver clearly defined strategic outputs within tight timeframes
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Lead ASE Facilitator (not a co-facilitator or support role)
- Hands-on experience with ASE (Accelerated Solution Environment) and MG Taylor methodologies
- Experience operating under recognised ASE-equivalent brands such as U-Collaborate or The Difference
- Demonstrated success facilitating large executive strategy-setting events
- Strong background in strategy, transformation, or enterprise problem-solving
- Experience working within energy & utilities environments (highly preferred)
- Experience in government or education sectors is advantageous
- Ability to independently design, lead, and deliver complex facilitation engagements
Candidate Profile
This role is best suited to candidates who have operated at:
- Director / Partner level in large consultancies (e.g. Big 4, global consultancies), or
- Senior independent consultants specialising in large-scale facilitation and ASE delivery
You will be confident leading senior stakeholders, highly credible in the room, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, outcome-driven environments.
Important Note
Due to global methodology and branding requirements, only candidates with proven ASE / MG Taylor facilitation experience will be considered. Generic facilitation, Agile coaching, or change management experience alone will not be sufficient.
