The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Support Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of complex integrated systems. You’ll provide expert technical support for Software and Systems Integration Testing (SIT), ensuring issues are resolved swiftly and effectively to deliver seamless customer experiences and reliable outcomes across enterprise environments.
The Role
In this role, you’ll ensure smooth operation and testing of enterprise software systems by managing incidents, providing hands-on technical troubleshooting, and working collaboratively with delivery and engineering teams.
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests for integrated systems.
- Provide hands-on technical support during SIT phases.
- Communicate with users and stakeholders via phone, email, and web chat.
- Ensure issues are resolved within defined SLAs and KPIs.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and service improvements.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to enhance product quality.
About You
You’re a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for improving systems and customer outcomes.
- Solid experience supporting enterprise software or integration environments.
- Strong experience working within highly complex enterprise environments, preferably banking.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices (essential).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure ASE, and cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, Maven, RabbitMQ, and GIT.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet service delivery targets.
