About the Role

As Project Coordinator within the School Facilities Operations Advisors (SFOA) team, you will investigate, plan, and manage key projects from conception through to execution. You'll be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of initiatives that improve operational procedures and enhance frontline services across Queensland schools.

Key responsibilities include maintaining project schedules and documentation, managing stakeholder engagement, identifying risks, and supporting continuous improvement. This is a casual AO7 role based in Brisbane City, running from 26 January 2026 to 31 December 2027, with hybrid work arrangements and required interstate travel.

About You

You are a driven and organised project professional with:

  • Proven experience coordinating or managing projects, ideally in government or education
  • Strong planning and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Aptitude for process improvement and implementing change
  • Proficiency in project tools and reporting systems

You must hold a valid/current Queensland Blue Card and be willing to undergo a criminal history check. Interstate travel is a requirement of the role.
