About the Company
Davidson is working with a state government who are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Officer. You will actively participate in teams and projects to undertake analysis, design, review and implementation of infrastructure, planning and asset management related business activities, systems, policies, projects and programs of work.
About the Role/s
This role will be responsible for service maintenance oversight of critical plant data collection, assessment, prioritisation recommendations for a portfolio of over 1,600 locations.
Your key responsibilities will include;
- Collecting, assessing, and prioritising critical plant data to provide actionable recommendations.
- Reviewing QBuild condition assessment data, focusing on assets rated 1 (very poor) and 2 (poor).
- Validating condition ratings through analysis of previous service reports.
- Creating, managing, and maintaining documentation.
- Participating in working group meetings for project establishment, design, and prioritisation.
- Provide monthly reports to the Manager and Director.
- Updating SharePoint with relevant articles as required.
- Performing SAP functions, including raising purchase orders and notifications.
Other duties;
- Undertake research, analysis and evaluation to support business improvements and provide support to managers and team members to implement improvement and promote best practice within the team to support the management and administration of the department’s infrastructure, planning and asset management programs.
- Participate in teams involved in the formulation of innovative and workable solutions for infrastructure, planning and asset management related services that align to industry acknowledged quality standards.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external networks to support departmental responses to issues and best practice approaches to implementing consistent processes on a range of infrastructure and planning related services.
- Provide high level advice, information and support services across a broad range of infrastructure, planning and asset management related issues, with a strong focus on client centric facilities services and the provision of advice to staff, regional teams and the wider community.
- Participate in project teams for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of programs, policies and procedures, to support the strategic direction of the department for a range of infrastructure and planning related issues.
- Prepare Ministerial responses, reports, submissions and briefing materials on a range of infrastructure, planning and asset management issues, including the effective analysis of information.
- Be responsible for the operational activities of a team and for prioritising workload to ensure that services and programs are delivered within required timeframes.
- Undertake a range of work unit specific activities where required.
About you
- Demonstrated experience working within a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the management and administration of infrastructure, planning and asset management programs.
- Demonstrated high level research and analysis skills, with a proven ability to initiate, monitor and report on complex infrastructure related projects within set timeframes.
- Demonstrated effective communication, consultation and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to represent the department and to establish and maintain mutually productive partnerships with clients, team members and other stakeholders.
- The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal history check.

- $74.61 Per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
- Contract up to August 2027
