About the Company

We are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor with extensive experience with information management governance.


About the Role

Accountable for establishing and implementing information management systems across for the New Station Project with a key focus on compliance, governance, and digital integration, and processes are identified and aligned with legislative, contractual, and organisational standards.

The role will oversee the configuration, deployment of the document control environment, facilitating end- to-end information lifecycle management.

  • Oversee the development and governance of document control procedures, standards, and workflows to ensure consistent application across the project lifecycle.
  • Enhance the capabilities of data custodians and collaborate on the implementation of data management controls
  • Lead the initiation, ongoing development, delivery and review of information management policies, practices and resources
  • Provide high-level analysis and advice to support organisational decision-making
  • Lead the initiation, ongoing development, delivery and review of information management policies, practices, resources and systems to both protect and maximise the use of information assets.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining governance systems that ensure compliance with project and departmental standards.
  • Track project risks, issues, and performance metrics, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation strategies.
  • Support audit and assurance activities, ensuring adherence to document control requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure governance processes in relation to information management are understood and consistently applied.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and the capacity to make decisions under pressure


About you

  • Experience with integration of project documentation into the Document Control System and developing efficient processes for document transfer from platforms such as InEight (TeamBinder), SharePoint, MS Teams, and Content Manager.
  • High level literacy skills to facilitate professional, clear and concise written and verbal communication, including an adaptive communication style targeting different audiences and communication mediums.
  • Extensive experience with information management governance.


The Benefits

  • $77.02 per hour + Super (PAYG Agency Contractor)
  • Contract up to May 2026
  • Brisbane, CBD
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
