About the Role
Reporting to the Project Controls Office Manager, you will join the Project Document Control team and support the successful delivery of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project. As Advisor (Document Control), you will help ensure the accuracy, quality and integrity of project documentation while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, contractual obligations and internal procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and coordinating updates to Project Document Control Management Plans and procedures.
- Managing document workflows, reviews, approvals, tracking and quality checks across complex project documentation.
- Supporting project users to ensure documents and communications are processed accurately, efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Developing and maintaining workflows within the document management system.
- Coordinating project information across InEight Document (TeamBinder), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Content Manager.
- Facilitating training for project team members on document control procedures and TeamBinder.
- Supporting document storage, record keeping and archiving in accordance with TMR and Queensland Government requirements.
- Preparing correspondence, reports, audits, submissions and document/drawing number requests.
- Supporting InEight configuration and identifying continuous improvement opportunities across document control processes.
- Contributing positively to the broader Document Control team and supporting ongoing process improvement.
About You
You will be a well-organised document control professional who can confidently manage high volumes of information within a fast-paced project environment.
Previous experience using InEight Document (TeamBinder) is mandatory.
Experience working within a major project environment will be highly regarded. You will bring a strong understanding of document management processes, quality control and governance, together with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of project stakeholders.
You will also demonstrate the ability to build enduring relationships, drive accountability and outcomes, contribute strategically and maintain sound governance.
This is an office-based position located at 140 Creek Street, Brisbane.
