Davidson is partnering with a Queensland Government department to resource the Community Recovery Program for the upcoming disaster season. We are seeking highly reliable and detail-focused professionals with strong administration, grants processing or customer service experience.
About the Roles
You will join an operational government team responsible for processing grants and providing front-line support to Queenslanders affected by natural disasters. Roles may include:
Grants Assessment & Administration
- Assess, review and process grant applications
- Validate documents and request additional information
- Maintain accurate records and data in government systems
- Ensure decisions align with program guidelines, policies and criteria
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Customer Service & Contact Centre Support
- Respond to inbound enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Provide clear advice on eligibility and application steps
- Assist vulnerable community members with patience and care
- Escalate complex matters in line with procedures
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will bring experience in:
- Government administration, grants, community services or customer service
- Grants processing, data entry or compliance work
- Fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Using systems such as SmartyGrants, Dynamics, CRM platforms, or advanced Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Flexibility is essential.
Shifts may fall between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday
depending on operational needs.
