We are supporting an architecture function undertaking a significant AI ways of working uplift and are seeking an AI Consultant to help redesign how its architecture function works in practice through safe, practical, AI-enabled ways of working.
This role focuses on turning AI from a broad idea into specific, useful improvements across architecture request triage, analysis, decision support, leadership briefing, and team productivity. It is a hands-on consulting role for someone who can identify where AI will create real leverage, define how it should be applied, and help shape the first pilots and working patterns.
As this project sits within the architecture team and relates to AI ways of working and accelerators, all candidates will need strong foundational knowledge across enterprise and solution architecture, insurance domain concepts, and modern enterprise environments. This includes an understanding of platforms and business processes such as PAS, claims, CRM, data, integration, insurance modernisation, and AI-led automation. For more architecture-focused candidates, particularly those with AI Architect or AI Dev capability, deeper technical and architectural depth will be highly regarded.
This role will also suit candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
What you’ll do
· Identify and prioritise the highest-value AI use cases across architecture work.
· Translate pain points into practical use cases such as AI-supported triage, fit-gap analysis, decision-support packs, and leadership briefs.
· Shape the first wave of AI accelerators, copilots, and pilot workflows.
· Define where AI should assist, where human judgement must remain central, and what controls are needed for safe use.
· Facilitate workshops, interviews, and decision forums with senior stakeholders.
· Help convert opportunity ideas into clear pilot scopes, working patterns, and adoption recommendations.
· Contribute to the operating approach for a new hybrid AI Chief of Staff capability.
· Partner with consulting, process, technical, and leadership stakeholders to embed practical AI-enabled ways of working.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience identifying, prioritising and value-framing enterprise AI use cases, and translating ambiguous business problems into practical AI-enabled solutions.
- Experience designing prompts, workflows and pilots for real business and technology environments, including experimentation and structured evaluation.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder skills across workshops, interviews and decision forums, with credible, commercially grounded communication.
- Sound understanding of enterprise AI risk, governance, controls and approval considerations.
- Curious, collaborative and low-ego, with the judgement and delivery discipline to build confidence in new ways of working without overselling.
- Foundational knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture, AI automation and working alongside architecture teams
- Insurance domain knowledge (PAS, claims, CRM/CX, data, integration).
