The Opportunity
- AI Architect / Lead Developer supporting AI Ways of Working uplift
- Project-based consulting role embedded in an architecture-aligned Davidson delivery team
- Flexible base location across Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
Davidson is seeking a hands-on AI Architect / Lead Developer to design and build the first wave of AI accelerators and workflow tools that will help reshape how an enterprise architecture function works. This role exists to turn prioritised use cases into real working pilots while still designing for traceability, reviewability and enterprise control.
You will help build solutions across architecture intake, triage, fit-gap analysis, structured drafting, leadership reporting, and the early implementation of a hybrid AI Chief of Staff capability. This role is for someone who enjoys moving quickly from idea to implementation while still designing for traceability, reviewability, and enterprise control.
What you'll do
- Design and build the first tranche of AI accelerators and workflow tools for the architecture function.
- Turn prioritised use cases into working pilots, structured outputs and reusable technical patterns.
- Create lightweight approaches for prompt structure, references, evaluation, and human review.
- Build practical tools that support tasks such as triage, fit-gap analysis, briefing, reporting, and coordination
- Help shape the technical backbone of the hybrid AI Chief of Staff capability
- Document how the tools work, how they should be used, and where human approval remains essential.
- Work closely with process, leadership and architecture stakeholders to ensure the build solves real operational problems.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience rapidly prototyping and delivering AI-assisted workflow tools in enterprise environments.
- Solution design across copilots, assistants, scripted accelerators, or agent-style workflows, with strong testing and output-quality discipline.
- Experience building structured outputs, references, prompts, and workflow templates, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work within secure, approval-aware enterprise delivery environments with strong documentation and handover discipline
- Experience with OpenAI, Claude or comparable enterprise AI tooling is highly regarded.
