The Role:
Lead key network projects for Queensland Government as an Agile Project Manager within the Public Safety Network Management Centre team. You will deliver critical ICT projects, manage budgets, guide project teams, and foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ICT projects end-to-end, including financial planning and budget control.
- Lead project teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project activities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, support best practices, and mentor staff in project management techniques.
- Conduct audits and apply auditing principles to projects.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Prepare implementation plans and schedules, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing projects with budget oversight and operational planning.
- Strong ability to teach and promote project management methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of Agile project management principles and techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology is desirable.
- Certifications in Agile, AgilePM, or Project Management are a plus.
